• Analytics / traffic measurement: A first-party cookie named session-id is set on the published Lovable-hosted site. It contains a random session UUID and is used for basic traffic and audience measurement, such as page views, page path and URL, referrer/source, timestamp, browser user agent, browser locale/language, and approximate country and device/browser/OS information derived from your browser. It expires approximately 30 minutes after the last activity, rolling with use. It is not an advertising cookie and is not used for behavioural profiling.

Essential storage is always required for the application to work. The other types are only used to keep your experience consistent or to understand basic site usage.

4. What We Do Not Use

Dinner Decided does not use advertising cookies, behavioural advertising/tracking, or marketing pixels. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Analytics Consent

The session-id analytics cookie is classified as non-essential analytics/measurement. Our technical audit found that this cookie currently runs before any consent banner is shown. Whether a consent banner is legally required depends on the final confirmation of Lovable's analytics controls and the applicable legal requirements in your jurisdiction. We have not implemented a consent mechanism in this update; that decision is pending further confirmation.

6. Managing Cookies

You can control or delete cookies and browser storage through your browser or device settings. Most browsers let you block cookies or alert you when a cookie is being set.

Please note that disabling certain cookies, especially essential cookies, may affect how parts of Dinner Decided work and could prevent you from signing in or saving your preferences.

Trusted service providers may also use cookies or similar storage when delivering services that support Dinner Decided, such as authentication, hosting and basic traffic analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or behavioural tracking.
